This policy applies to Wrong Trip 1.0: Bali (21–28 March 2027, "the trip") and is part of our Terms & Conditions. In short: the booking amount is non-refundable, the rest depends on when you cancel, and you can always hand your spot to a friend.

1. The booking amount

The ₹40,000 booking amount is non-refundable in every case, including visa issues, refused entry, illness, work commitments or a change of plans. It goes straight into villa and venue deposits the day you book.

2. If you cancel

Tell us in writing by email to mohnish@wrongtrip.com or on WhatsApp at +91 99875 12903. The date we receive your message is your cancellation date.

When you cancelWhat you get back
More than 45 days before the trip
on or before 3 Feb 2027
Everything you've paid, minus the ₹40,000 booking amount
45 to 31 days before the trip
4 Feb – 18 Feb 2027
Everything you've paid, minus 50% of the total trip price (or minus the booking amount, if that's higher)
30 days or less before the trip, or a no-show
from 19 Feb 2027

Can't make it? Send a friend. You can transfer your spot to someone else for free up to 15 days before the trip (by 6 March 2027). They'll need to accept our terms, and room pairing may change. Any name-change charges from suppliers are passed on at cost. [REVIEW]

3. If we cancel

Wrong Trip runs with a minimum group size of [REVIEW: e.g. 8 guests]. If we cancel the trip for low numbers, or for any other reason within our control, you'll get a full refund of everything you paid us, including the booking amount. We aren't responsible for flights, visas or other bookings you made yourself, so we recommend booking refundable or flexible flights.

4. Events beyond our control (force majeure)

If the trip is cancelled, cut short or significantly changed because of events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, volcanic activity, airport closures, government restrictions, epidemics or civil unrest, we will offer you either:

[REVIEW: confirm you're comfortable offering both options]

5. Things that aren't refundable

6. Gili T extension

The optional Gili T extension (₹24,999) follows the same timeline as the main trip. Once confirmed, it can't be refunded within 30 days of the trip. [REVIEW: confirm, or set a separate policy for the add-on]

7. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are processed within [REVIEW: e.g. 7–10 working days] of your written cancellation (or of our cancellation notice) and are paid to the original payment method or to a bank account in your name. Taxes collected (GST/TCS) are refunded or adjusted as permitted by law. [REVIEW with your CA]
